Frequently Asked Questions
How many PDF files can I merge?
You can merge as many PDF files as you like! Everything runs directly on your device with zero upload restrictions.
Can I extract only specific pages from each file before merging?
Yes! You can specify page ranges (e.g. 1-3, 5) individually for each uploaded PDF file.
Is my data secure?
100% secure. All processing happens entirely within your web browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. No documents are sent to any server.
Merge multiple PDF files into a single organized document online. Reorder pages, filter page ranges per document, rotate pages, and combine instantly in your browser with complete privacy.
How it works
- Add the PDF files, then drag them into the order you want.
- For any file, set a page range such as 1-3, 5, or leave it blank to keep every page. Rotate a file if it is sideways.
- Merge and download one PDF.
Combine several PDF files into one document, in the order you choose. For each file you can keep all of its pages or take only a range, and you can rotate a file before it is merged. Merging runs in your browser, so the files are not uploaded.
How page ranges work
Separate page numbers and ranges with commas. The entry 1-3, 5 keeps pages 1, 2, 3 and 5 of that file. Pages always keep their original order within each file, whatever order you type the ranges in.
Rotation turns the whole file 90 degrees clockwise each time you click the rotate button, so a sideways scan can be corrected before it is merged.
Common uses
- Join scanned pages that arrived as several separate files.
- Put a cover letter, report and appendix into one attachment.
- Take only the relevant pages from long files with ranges, without splitting them first.
Before you merge
- Check the list order. The first file becomes the first pages of the new document.
- If a file will not open, repair it with the Repair PDF tool first.
- If a file is protected, unlock it with the Unlock PDF tool first, using its password.
Limits
This tool processes your file on your device and never uploads it. The app does not set a size limit for it, so very large files can run out of memory in the browser, especially on phones. If that happens, split the file first with Split PDF.
