Frequently Asked Questions

Which DPI resolution should I choose?

72 DPI is best for fast web sharing. 150 DPI is balanced for reading and presentations. 300 DPI delivers pristine print-ready quality for publication.

Should I choose PNG or JPG?

PNG gives lossless clarity with sharp text and crisp vector edges. JPG creates significantly smaller files and is ideal for photographic documents.

Can I download all pages as a ZIP file?

Yes! Whenever multiple pages are extracted, a single instant ZIP archive is automatically generated for one-click downloading.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. All rendering and extraction executes directly in your web browser using HTML5 Canvas and WebAssembly. Your documents remain completely confidential.

Extract high-quality images from PDF documents online for free. Export PDF pages to PNG or JPG at 72, 150, or 300 DPI print quality. Download pages individually or all together as a ZIP archive. Fast, secure, and client-side with zero data uploads.

How it works

  1. Choose a PDF and select the pages to export, such as 1-3 or 8.
  2. Pick PNG or JPG and a resolution: 72, 150 or 300 DPI.
  3. Download each image, or all pages together as a ZIP file.

Export pages from a PDF as PNG or JPG images. Pages are drawn in your browser, so the PDF is not uploaded. Choose the pages, a resolution and a format, then download the results.

Choosing a resolution

  • 72 DPI: screens and web pages. The smallest files.
  • 150 DPI: the default. Good for reading on screen and for slides.
  • 300 DPI: print. Files are much larger and take longer to render, especially on phones.

PNG or JPG

PNG is lossless, so text and line drawings stay sharp, but the files are larger. JPG is compressed and produces smaller files, which suits photographs and scanned pages. A page with a transparent background is placed on white when exported as JPG.

Exporting several pages

Selecting more than one page downloads all of them in a single ZIP file, so you do not need to save each image separately.

If an export fails

  • Lower the resolution. Very large pages at 300 DPI need a lot of memory, which can be a problem on older phones.
  • Export fewer pages at a time.

Limits

This tool processes your file on your device and never uploads it. The app does not set a size limit for it, so very large files can run out of memory in the browser, especially on phones. If that happens, split the file first with Split PDF.
